The role called for a mature performance. For the 1st time I played a 30- year old father of an 8 year old daughter. I loved doing the scene. I was holding the newborn in my arms and kissing her hair while a musical interlude was playing in the background. instantly, I was reminded of my son Aryan's entry into this world. (DUPLICATE):I ve never suffered from thhis megalomanic indulgence tp play a double role. I know there's this belief that somewhere in the world you have a double. But I dont believe it. When I was offered a double role, I told myself that if I had to play 2 characters that looked identical but were ppoles apart in temperament, I had to leave logic behind. And Duplicate defied all logic. |
