Ralf Schumacher is the younger brother odf former world champion Micheal Schumacher, still only 24 years old he is still to come out of his big brothers shadow. He made his debut with the jordon team in 1997.Ralf's second year in Formula1 ended in acrimony with the Jordan team, whom he sued to extricate himself contractually so he could join Williams. Nevertheless, the season was one of continued improvement, after a mistake-laden first half of the season, and encompassed the highlight of his short career - second place at Spa behind team mate Damon Hill

Frustration at his orders not to overtake Hill there could have been the nail in the coffin for his Jordan career, but he enjoyed another podium finish at Monza, sharing the stand with the two Ferrari drivers. The move to Williams, and the partnership with another speed merchant, Alex Zanardi, will no doubt bring the best out of Ralf, who Frank Williams sees as a future World Champion. Concentration problems seem to be behind him now.In 1995 he finished second in the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 3 race then secures victory at Macau. In 1996 he wins the Japanese Formula 3000 Championship. And it was only in 1997 he made his Formula One debut in Australia. Finishes third in Argentina and claims 11th spot in the Drivers' Championship. In1998 he picks up 14 championship points to finish 10th in the table. 2nd at Spa, and 3rd at Monza. We wish all the luck to Ralf and hopes that he will finally be able to come out of his brothers shadow.Keep watching for him right here on A1F1
